If you look at the start of the chapter, his heart is beating loudly and he's thinking about Nanjo(in present) then scene changes where he goes to see Nanjo but Nanjo ignored him(past) now we are back to present where he is wearing the same shirt which we see in the first panel. Means he already committed Suicide and author is just going back and forth to tell us his past and present together...

Bro read the chap 35 again in the start he's wearing the same shirt which he was wearing at the end of the chap it means he already used that cutter and author was just showing us why in the start of the chap his heart was beating loudly and the way he was breathing heavily is because he saw that cutter and used it... I think you don't know when someone cut their vein the flowing of blood creates heat in the body, heart starts beating like crazy and breathe start to become heavy and it was the reason he was thinking about his beloved Nanjo cuz maybe he thinks it's his last chance to remember him or think about him...I'm not saying he's going to die or something cuz we all know author said it has happy ending..but he did try to commit suicide... believe it or not...
