The plot twist is INSANE
Herdin was actually in love with Blair in their first life, but a dark curse made loving each other dangerous. If they shared their mana, Blair would die or Herdin would lose control of his powers. So he acted cold and pushed her away, secretly trying to find a way to break the curse and protect her.
Turns out, the real villain was Pope Gerard, Herdin’s secret uncle, who had been manipulating EVERYTHING from the beginning. He even cursed Herdin’s subordinate, Caligo, and ordered him to kill Blair if things went wrong. And guess what? After Herdin finally killed Gerard, the curse kicked in and Caligo killed Blair. Herdin went absolutely insane after losing her. He lost control of his powers, nearly lost their son Asiel too, and ended up sacrificing
himself to send Blair three years back in time. AND HE FORGOT EVERYTHING. Meanwhile, Blair remembered it all and went back thinking Herdin had betrayed her, while he was actually the one who gave his life to save her. They eventually uncover the truth, defeat Gerard, get their happy ending, and even have a daughter later. LIKE??? HE LITERALLY GAVE HIS LIFE TO GIVE HER A SECOND CHANCE AND DIDN'T EVEN REMEMBER DOING IT. I'M NOT OKAY. (In the next story they will have a daughter named Diana.
