ommmmg this series is so peak i wish we got more frequent updates
the brokeback mountain reference in the middle of that serious scene killed me
so surprised people did not enjoy this, its one of my fav series (literally back on here to reread it) i feel seeing suu as the kind of mc that keeps making the "same mistakes" is such a disservice to his character?? he's doesn't make the same mistakes - he always chooses the option that he believes leads to his self preservation i.e. the option that involves running away and/or detaching himself from the prince because even if he and the prince have something going on he KNOWS the prince is using him (and he is). he knows he shouldn't trust the people around him because they are also working for their own benefit. it's only at that end that he sort of accepts his fate and realizes the he loves the prince enough to put himself in a situation that he doesn't really want to be in.
that kind of personal conviction to do what they think is best even if it makes the situation worse is definitely an element in all of the author's work (like very much what sora and seojin do).
also the fact the suu doesn't just immediately fall in line with the prince once he starts liking him was sooo good. i loved their dynamics and the fact despite getting together early on, there's always that line between genuine feelings vs using each other for their own benefits and most of the time they were doing both. it was so complicated and messy.
anyway just a girl venting, i'm ride or die for all of summer's work and this is probably still my fav
choosing a life risking mission to be all cutesy together, love to see it
just finished rereading this and i can't wait for season two. i really love how sahan's mental health is portrayed, like that low level emptiness that may not be super apparent but does fuck you up ultimately. also loooove heegeon. i love how vulnerable he is with sahan :'-)
i'm curious how to the story will move forward after philip's death. like obviously it'll impact sahan but i'm curious if logan is going to continue being in the story only because he has a detailed and particular character design that make me feel like he's not just some side character lol...?
holy shiiiiit i thought i was about to read a cute lil bully x model student story not this devastating and beautiful story can't get over how adorable they are in the last couole of chapters
awww omg what a sweet chapter!! it's so nice to see uyun have this meaningful relationships at work, the author did such a good job of building this part of his life out alongside his life at home or in the lab
my absolute comfort series, i'm so sad it's done :( i'll miss hanuel's chaotic and dumbass energy :((
ommmg this was such a gem, the main couple reminded me of sasamiya - super tender and gentle with each other!! also loved how the focus on the second couple and their flashbacks were interwoven with bits of the main couple rather than like 30 chapter of straight flashback lol
literally in grief...........i need more stories by summer (at least some side stories pleaseeeee)
this was a fun binge read, people exaggerate the fact that the two main characters look similar. i agree they do but after a couple of chapters once you understand the plot, you can also see they have very different expressions (the priest has a much soft expression & diff hairstyle)
ughhhhh such an perfect chapter!! theyre just the definition of soulmates
ughhhh cliffhanger!! desperately need someone to update this
ughhh just finished rereading, i wish this had a sequel
just me venting to no one but anyone miss reck's older stories?? like i looved hate mate and digitalis. i loved the art style, the humor actually made me lol, and the general atmosphere of those stories were so good. a little depressing but ultimately happy endings. also hate mate's one of the rare love triangle stories where the mc and second lead are end game which i loved.
the newer works like this or body complex are kinda a let down and feel super different in overall tone to the author's earlier works?? i also lowkey prefer the older art style too but that's just me
