I'm at chapter 17, and hot damn, they're so fucking human. Idk how to explain it, but it's like their thoughts and emotions are so transparent to us??? like im feeling what they are feeling iykwim. They're self-aware, they reflect on their own feelings, and they actually take the time to think and talk about their struggles. Damn, the author knows ball. She knows how to dissect a character's feelings and lay them bare for us readers. I also really love how well she seems to know her characters, like REALLY know them. You can tell she's put so much thought into developing them and figuring out how they'd think, feel, and react to certain things. They feel so incredibly human, and I love that we're actually allowed to see what's going on inside their heads. It makes me understand them on a much deeper level and gives me a better sense of who they are as people.
Just finished the storyyy!! Damn, I have so much love and respect for this author. The story is so well thought out, and the characters stay true to their personalities from beginning to end. You can really tell she planned things out instead of just writing whatever was necessary to move the plot forward. Everything feels INTENTIONAL, and I love love that. I'm so excited for the side stories, and I genuinely hope she comes out with another manhwa because I would absolutely read it!
I saw some comments saying that the plot is so cliche, and honestly, I agree! I mean, rich x poor and characters drowning in debt are pretty overused tropes. BUT the difference is that this manhwa actually has so much consistency and depth. The characters' emotions and inner thoughts are laid bare for us, making it easier to understand them and see where they're coming from. And even the ending stays true to everything that came before it. It's like the author had everything planned out from the very beginning. The whole story flows so naturally and cohesively, and damn, there are no plot holes?? The author really took such a cliche premise and turned it into something so good, and idk about yall but it's like the author made me wanna protect these twoo preciousss and wish for their happiness after everything taht they went through. T.T
Can anyone please recommend me more manhwas like this!! I want something that's just as well thought-out, where you can tell the author actually put a lot of thought into the story and characters. Something consistent and intentional, where things don't just happen for the sake of moving the plot forward, and everything actually has a purpose. I love stories where you can tell the author knows exactly what they're doing. I'M CRAVING FOR MANHWAS LIKE THIS!!
