I been thinking. On the chapters with the archivist shamans, they say that the shaman bond is akin to love. So is clear that ML is the embodiment os the Demi Wyrm with all it's strength and possible madness (probably because of all the murder).
So I think that the Taboo of the change of fate Grandma did was transfer her powers/bond to Red head. Since she probably wouldn't have much time either way, so she found someone he could really love in the future, and in a sense it will work. If the curse is tied to the island and the family, she probably severed the connection of them to the ML to her so this power could grow little by little, and now Red Head will eventually bring all their family crimes to light and free him from his fate.
I like how Ryder and Myria are just like... Married now lol. They're trying their best to make the whole family thing. It's even cuter to having him propose to Myria. Also how cute is that Myria know them so well she even notices that Mori sleeps like Ryder.
On another note, Lily's dad is indeed a star. I guess because gravity messes them up, she only ever saw them as stars.
