Ari bringing up Haesu’s fertility was definitely a low blow.
I’m so angry that those two chapters from Mincheol’s POV made him feel more human with real thought processes and emotions- but at the end of the day, his selfishness was his downfall. His self loathing, victimization of himself, his attempts at manipulation, all of it, stems from selfishness and Taeha will be his karma.
Jae is right about the fact that Taeha shouldn’t exact revenge himself, as his own karma will come back 10 fold, but as much as he loves Haesu, his anxiety that she won’t choose him is slightly bigger. So OFC he wants him out of the picture for good, OR it’ll end with only him being hurt in the end. And that’s Taeha’s selfishness on his part.
Also, I’m so scared of what Daddy Beom is gonna do waaahh ╥﹏╥
Yk how either at the beginning or the end of that chapters, sometimes the author will put something like “snippets” of what their future will be like (i.e. showing taeha w his daughter that looks like haesu or haesu dressing glamorously (being thrown into taeha’s world)).. but what if it’s only a “what if” type of thing and they end up going separate ways bc of taeha’s master mindful 1000 steps ahead light yagami strategic way of thinking, he swears up and down that haesu will end up hurt by the end of his schemes
I’m rereading for like the 5th time so these are just some thoughts I’m having
One thing I wanna say is in ch 55 taeha said “the ending is only a few pages away” we’re currently on ch 126, finally reaching the official crescendo of the story so he was indeed WRONG abt that
