I honestly don't think an official, proper translation could save this. It's just the same poverty x rich sponsor plotline but more poorly written than average. Like please at least make the mc even remotely interesting
How much do you need to distrust and hate your own child to want to meddle in their happy love life AND try to "catch them in the act" to prove they're unfit to parent
Can we just like forcefully admit mokyeon to a therapist
I want to think this has some sort of commentary about how celebrities are forced to sell every part of themselves to their audiences, but mostly it's just insane gooner content
How did I not pick up on the implication Gale has been fucking Iliyans dad on my first read
Genuinely what the fuck kind of representation of kink communities is this? This story paints people who are into bdsm as obsessive, mentally unstable, unlovable (not worthy of dating or marriage) freaks who cannot accept a no or that someone hot is in an exclusive relationship (ch. 34)
This might genuinely be the worst and stupidest representation of bdsm ive ever read
I want to think this is so much deeper, more symbolic than it appears to be, but man... it's just not
I feel like there's very little respect to the fact that gyuwon is a bodyguard. Hwayoung is constantly making his job harder by not listening to him. Like seriously sit your ass down and let gyuwon do his job. Yall can fuck and be lovers outside work hours
Only about a quarter of the way through this story so far and man. Can hwayoung stfu?? Everything he says during sexis so insanely cringe
As a gay man who at least knows a bit about kink communities, the whole concept of gyuwon thinking he'll never get a Dom his type because of his looks is crazy to me. Dudes go FERAL for big beefy bottoms, and you will absolutely be able to find a good kinky partner if you look for one. Kink is inclusive
Oh yay! He's still not getting a break! Stuck on an island with mr guk is... Totally a dream come true
How do you know someone for YEARS and then completely stop knowing them the moment your relationship turns romantic
This reaction was entirely expected of yeon tbh. Throughout this entire story, there has not been a single moment when he has respected yeomin as a human being. Yeomin was never anything more than a convenient hole for him, and an item to be possessed. His motives for "helping" yeomin were always selfish, and the ways in which he went about "helping" were toxic. A half decent person who cares about yeomin even a little bit would have been happy he finally had the chance to have a social life (especially one that seemed to genuinely make him happier), but even that only frustrated mr yeon. He was always toxic and abusive, and for that, he needs to be knocked down a whole lot of pegs.
Haven't touched this in a while... Has any sort of development happened in the last 50 chapters?
Even without the ai slop, I can't imagine the storytelling to be much better than this. Disappointing.
Also, quick reminder that masturbating in the presence of another person who is unconscious or otherwise unaware is in fact sexual violence
