I think he loves him but try’s to hide it due to the trama he faced and bc it makes him vulnerable, which he hates that part of himself. He ends up showing this revenge and spiteful side of him but deep down he’s been abused and heartbroken so when he says “ did he see through me” it means did he see all my trama and is going to hate me for it. He’s rather show this strong personality and hit the ml in hopes that if he can’t love him he’ll at least hate him and he can stay by his side than let his mask fall and have to face the truth of all the trama he faced and have the ml leave. Overall he’s very mentally ill which we can see from the medication he’s taking which it’s very confusing especially in the earlier chapters.
