It makes the character development much deeper for him to come around to apologizing instead of instantly acknowledging his faults, slow burns are always better because you become more emotionally invested.

Ik that it def fits with his character to not apologize right away, but it’s funny to see all his emotional gymnastics for a simple apology. I just hope Kim Dan doesn’t go along passively again without getting some closure of how he was treated. Kim Dan needs to realize it can’t be swept under the rug just bc he does a 180 all of a sudden.
Dan is weak, I think the "I don't wanna see you" era is over. Did you notice that Dan isn't mad at him, see the flash back he had?
