Rereading this and many other manga. It’s interesting how manga in general is so much better written and has more of an emotional impact than so many manhwa I’ve read. Not to mention much less scrolling.

This manhwa is legendary. I genuinely believe that it put Lehzin on the map. Initially I was mad at the ending since I couldn’t understand why Sangwoo was killed offscreen. I wanted to see him suffer.
But now I get it. Ultimately it was Bum’s story. And Bum is pathetic. Desperately pathetic and cannot change. The last few chapters highlight this and the fact that, although Bum is a victim in a sense, he is completely and utterly useless, pathetic, desperate and obsessive. He is completely self aware yet cannot change.
I really felt it - being put into Bum’s shoes and being denied what I wanted (to see Sangwoo one last time) even though I (Bum) got so close. But I was held back by my own cowardice.
I loved it.
