as someone who has been cheated on in the past, i cant help but think of ppl (in general) who cheat on their partners. Can these become genuinely at some point will ever be able to maintain a stable relationship w a person?
no, i think. cheating is a disease without cure la la la
Let me get this straight.
Cheaters are in fact humans who are capable of changing. We have scientifically and statistically proven therapies that have helped infidelity cases (who often see them in couple’s therapies) and they are being handled by professionals who have witnessed and studied these cases over and over again. Aside from therapies, external factors such as religion, trauma, experience, and personal beliefs could be their guide into changing.
When I was immature, I always think that “cheaters will always be cheaters” especially during the time that I was cheated on (I was cheated on by multiple partners so you could only imagine the hate I have for cheaters). But then again, I was immature.
In addition, there is no point of thinking “if they can change for others, does that mean I am not worthy of loyalty?” Because at the end of the day, horrible people will always exist and you’ll meet them one way or another. The only option you have is move on or get stuck. No matter what you choose, the person who cheated on you will live happily.
