A lot of you ppl said this as if you guys would get pick up by him and not getting slimed out because he saw you guys as "not beneficial enough" to the town the possibility of him killing you because you're "useless" is higher than getting choose to enter the town by the way

All those ppl inside that town got their family, friends, etc killed like that doctor literally got his wife and children killed. And even if you indeed get "rescue" you could be executed with a baseball bat like that father of that child, or getting beaten up by the hounds if they don't like your smile or sum

So just imagine the scenario where Guwon and the hounds found you and your family members, it's either you got killed alongside with your family, or you get picked to enter the town but say bye bye to the rest of your family, it. But sure morally high ground, eh?

This ^ I love Guwon but when that revealed happen I was actually terrified. He's unreasonnable by 99.9% of the people because to him, we are insects. You wouldn't care if a fly told you to spare it, same with Guwon and people. It's the first time I'm reading a god damn yaoi and think one of the characters is actually scary. And I love it! It's really annoying to see people reduce such a well written character to a perfect blorbo who "just did bad things because he had to

I’m saying this knowing for sure I would not be chosen and if I was I would be a COWARD. It’s just in the story situation, the author knows how to play with our nerves and I feel like seeing the town people getting slimed is kind of cathartic ? Because yes you killed big bad guwon (who really was BAD and kind of terrifying because he don’t see what he did wrong with even creepier hounds) but how are you going to survive now ? So seing both sides being down kind of “confirm” for me that we’re starting over and that’s “ok” if good people making bad decisions are killed

That makes sense. I don't find it cathartic, I'm pretty neutral when it comes to my feelings towards these people - I loved the doctor tho - but I get why you would feel that way. I cant wait to see it start over too!
