A huge appreciation to the author for not taking issues like depression/ trauma lightly and showing what it can do to a person. Also, the reason people like eunhyeok are scared/fearful to tell their traumas is because of THESE reactions that most of you are giving.
I don’t want to get personal with anyone, but trivialising eunhyeoks depression and calling the story bullshit, just because you do not understand how serious of a topic mental health is, is pretty annoying.
But let us not forget the consequences behind that. Depression is not easy to deal it especially when you are in the “dark period” but it really affect the relationships you have. Especially in Eunhyeuk’s case who isolated himself to just ONLY sooae for like a decade without any message, email, text etc. It is not ok for the other person who was left behind by him, didn’t know anything why he just left and hadn’t heard anything from him for 10 years.
Also id like to add that dohwa getting rejected is pretty sad ngl. But tbh suae already rejected him and he was the one who refused to back away. He knew Suae didn’t feel the same even after he kissed her, but he still chose to hurt himself and didn’t give Suae an opportunity to object. Also im kinda mad that people are only focusing on how dohwa sacrificed his career for suae, but suae’s career is ruined BECAUSE of dohwa. Dohwa knew that there were paps following them around. Dohwa knew about the potential scandal. But he chose not only to not tell suae but also not take any precautions. Kinda disappointed that we didn’t even see any guilt from his side when suae said “I wasn’t being careful either”, because it could’ve made the scenes much more deeper and he had the opportunity to tell suae the truth. I also don’t like how suae is being blamed for the scandal narrative wise.
Now wth do you mean we do don't see any guilt from his side??... Doesn't he apologize over and over again telling her that he'll find a way to fix this??? Doesn't he throw his father under the bus and retire to get the attention off of suae????... What does guilt mean to you genuinely? Cause he seems plenty guilty here... Or was he supposed to drown in depression for years like Eunhyuk did...? He was desperate to stay bedsides suae... He knew if this scandal was made known to suae, their friendship would end right there. And he was afraid of that. He acted selfishly… like every single character has in this book. Eunhyuk ran away when things got serious with his relationship with suae because he was scared... He also knew how this would hurt suae but he still DID!! Suae first approached Dohwa with alterior motives for her work project… She knew if he found out he would be hurt but she still DID!! The author understands emotions can get in the way of thinking rationally... People will most likely act in their selfish interests even while fully aware pf the consequences... I never understand why dohwa is held to a higher standard like he's some divine being

Ik people hate this manhwa, but I’m genuinly in love with the way eunhyeoks depression and trauma were handled. Because serious topics like these are often brushed off and trivialised or used as a plot device. But the author actually took time to explore how serious depression and trauma is and what it can do to a person. The feelings of doing nothing, that feeling of not realising how much time has passed into nothingness. It’s NOT easy. It’s not easy to lose your mom at 17, not easy to have an abusive dad, not easy to watch your whole life falling apart and then watch the only person you love/hope for ignore your call after watching your reality in front of your eyes. The way his depression has been portrayed even through the art is amazing. I’m in love genuinely.

Also guys this story is going on hiatus for 4 months. The author just announced. I am going to miss them but atleast she gave us soohyuk before going. Also she always announces hiatus on soohyuk chapters. I can’t believe people question their endgame. Anyways she needs the rest and it’s well deserved.
After the unnecessary 10-year skip arc which brought us all to these trauma and getting roasted with the declining reviews… yea it’s well deserved ┑(￣Д ￣)┍.
girl ik that it feels like that rn. But we’re finally getting to a point where they can clear everything up. The toxic fandom who only supported the sml is dying down. The author was getting literal death threats if she didn’t make the sml endgame. Her stress and taking break is valid. She’s been in pain for some time now, that’s why chapters keep getting delayed. But she still pushed through to give a soohyuk chapter at the end. Ik the writing isn’t great but it’s not terrible either. I wish the love triangle would’ve been avoided after time skip because that’s the only thing that makes this fandom divided and toxic. Again I feel like patience is the key. Maybe one day this manhwa will get over and we’ll look back and reread and realise that everything makes sense. Plus it’s better for her to take breaks and deliver chapters consistently rather than forcing herself to work and being inconsistent.

I am going to cry. I love them so so much. The last panel killed me. I just hope we get su-ae’s inner monologue next chapter to see how she really feels about him. Ik she still loves him but she’s still angry (rightfully) from their last argument and she thinks he considers her “easy”. She also admitted she would’ve replied if she knew he was leaving.
Also eun’s smile broke my heart. Someobody said that in the end, the people are going to beg the author for soohyuk and to end their suffering and to see them together. Guess that time has finally come

Tbh what Dohwa did was coming and not out of character cause he’s been portrayed so many times as an insecure person but he’s really controlling and keeps pushing her. Also he did the paps from her.
It’s clear su-ae and eun still love each other.
But eun is depressed, has self blaming tendencies and thinks everyone is his responsibility wether it be su-ae, ra-im or dohwa. He’s suffers almost every chapter.
Also a scandal or probably going to break out soon which will jeopardise my girl’s mental health too.
If you guys hate this manhwa so much, think there’s no saving it, think everybody in the story is crappy,shitty and what not and every charecter should make a decision YOU think is morally correct or you think that somebody having trauma and not being able to share it makes them a “moron”, then pls stop reading because this story isn’t for you. You come back here every week to complaint and it’s getting tiring. Nobody’s forcing you to read this. Period. And also if you want to comprehend why a charecter did a certain thing without even knowing the canon reason and just making assumptions, and then hate them based on solely on that reason which you made up in your head then don’t come here to complain.
Ps: I won’t tolerate eunhyeok or su-ae hate at all. So I am going to defend them. It’s okay to criticise but constantly nitpicking is not okay.
