The chapters are getting shorter which I hate and I think how the art changed is alright since it just shows how they grew or something happened to the author but I still like the manga!
Oh the author is fine just they change the artists. I like the first one better. The art they have one now is boring. So now I stick to the novel most of the time. It has more detail too.

i think the author is died cause I tried searching him/her up and it shows that that person had died.......which sucks but then it has been like two years since it last updated so it is possible but then I had also found out that there is a movie on this manga too

The original novelist for the story of the blind swordman's is dead you are correct, he died in 1968. This manga on the other hand came out on 2008 in Japan. So unless the dead guy wrote the manga in the grave than i would be very impressed. lol
But anyways the one who wrote the manga and drew it was a female by the name of Shinohara Hana is still alive. This manga sadly is completed. In japan there are only 7 volumes (It wasn't as popular so they butchered the manga, and finished it without a proper ending.)
The author is indeed Shimozawa Kan since he wrote a novel by the name of Zatoichi (which has a bunch of movies of it) about a blind swordsman who is male. Ichi is basically the same as the novel just with the difference that the artist decided to change it to female not male.
the manga is funny and also kinda cute
the main chracter who is a man reminds me of jea-ha and Hak combined for some reason but mostly Hak with a ruder personality

I don’t get why they remake it into colored when it was perfect before! Like cause WEBTOON are getting popular? BRUH, they messing with perfection- this why I dropped so many manga before cause it got ruined with color, it just makes me loose interest automatically. It stared at a totally random spot too, should have just left it. Like I like WEBTOONs and stuff but come on, this didn’t need to be in color. I really liked it in black and white too, the classic look…it just looks kinda weird now. Hope it backs to normal, I rlly like the storyline too ╥﹏╥
I don't think so, and what's bad about this colouring it's that it's done badly, it basically just overwrites the gray colours, it doesn't fit the art.... Manwhas are made with colours in mind from the start, so it works for them, but not mangas...
I really hate it when they do this, but they don't usually go back to gray scale and stick with colours even though it ruins the art T.T
