Cz he was the one displaying full bird behaviour never holding Ian accountable for anything until he was getting rejected.

a much better choice than an long-term abuser????? it’s honestly scary how tj fans can’t even acknowledge that some of his behavior is toxic/abusive, even through the author’s distorted lense. makes me wonder how your relationships irl are doing if you find this behavior normal? jo was attempting to help ian get past his rough past and help him grow/change as person, which is why he was as insistent as he was. he truly cared about him and wanted better for him, while tj sends members after jo to ruin his life. tj corners ian and manipulates him through sex that he “belongs to him.” not once did he aim to apologize or recognize what he was doing was wrong; he just brought up his own feelings and how irreversibly codependent ian became to him. i can see the wrong in jo’s character at times, but tj fans seem to depend on this same idea to defend tj. that’s our difference, so please elaborate on what your line is thinking is because surely you can’t be seeing tj as an 100% innocent man?

Why do y'all consistently only talk about tj's wrongs in favour of Jo like is Jo that much of a nothing burger that you can't even say he had a personality for Ian to like? Oh right Ian only picked him cz he reminded him of TJ. And please did we all read season three him dragging Ian into a life he wanted to run from. So much for being nice to him with that bs. Ian someone for Jo when he never wanted to do that shit and y'all think he cared more when he put Ian in that position? What about when Jo wanted to kill someone when Ian clearly wasn't having that? Was that care too? Subtext is important. Jo was so jealous of TJ he wanted to be a bit of him and thought maybe this will bring him closer to Ian but there's only one tj. Ian had to care about another man ruining his life when all Jo had to do is shut up and stay out of the way. Cared when he didn't hold him accountable for anything? Did he ever ask why he's using him for sex? Even when Ian killed someone Jo just sucked his ass and wasn't horrified this is the man he's laying with. A man who can easily take lives. Guess who cleaned all that mess at the end of the day? TJ. TJ is not great but never lie, he puts respect on Ian's name and actually protects him and still doesn't enable some of his bad choices. Y'all just can't admit that Jo was a bad choice by Ian rooted in horniness and not love.

Instead of all this energy on what TJ did wrong what about what Jo did right?? Oh nothing there either just a rapist and a bird who always knew he was being played. No wonder he strangled Ian instead of airing out his feelings. Even screaming at him wouldve been better that his insecure jealous tantrum. Ooh Jo such a nice guy who thought strangling his lover is not attempted murder. Y'all exalt that guy for just therapy speak and call it love when it came to action he quite literally did nothing.

this is a noir-themed manhwa and before we even get into it, we acknowledged that this genre is far from “normal.” so we already know that tj isnt 100% innocent. he is a gangster, thats literally the first thing introduced in chap 1. no one ever dismissed his character flaws but how abt u? will u admit that ur joe isnt 100% innocent either? heck all three of these characters arent innocent as the author herself said in her interview.

joe cares abt ian? now tell me, what does he actually know abt ian other than that hes an ex-gangster who has killed people and knows a guy named oh taejoon? nothing. he doesnt even know ian's surname either. that alone says a lot abt where his character stands in ian's life, bc ian never gave him permission to truly know him. why? bc ian doesnt want to. yet joe keeps trying to impose himself on ian's life by controlling his sex life, judging how he lives and even lying to him. remember chap 32? chap 52? Chapters 71–73 too? being an accomplice in killing that guy in the alley? being willing to sacrifice his own family? almost killing jamie in impulse? now tell me, how is any of that going to help ian in the long run? we can excuse tj and ian's behavior bc they grew up in survival mode surrounded by violence and gang life. but whats ur boi joe's excuse?

i could go on and on about his character but u probably not ready for that. im sure u just ignore it bc u judge characters like ian and tj through ur own privileged lens instead of viewing them from a morally gray perspective. the problem is, u reading this while projecting ur own morality onto fiction. i mean, if i wanted to learn abt social justice lessons, i'd go pick up a law book instead. not read a BL manhwa like this one? u chose to read this voluntarily, knowing its a noir story, so its not the author’s responsibility to teach morality. if u cant separate fiction from reality, then this one isnt for u

now lemme ask u this, is ian a saint? NO. he is an ex-addict, he killed ppl, he's violent, selfish and a liar too. so do u really think hes the right person for joe? if yes why? and if not, why u insist that ian needs to be with person like joe? ha, thats the issue with yall. u treat ian like a person with no agency, a prize to be won just bc joe seems a bit more “decent” than the other two characters. like a “good” person needs to be rewarded, right? but if you reread, tj already let ian go after chapter 45. so who was the one persistently trying to find tj again? even hiring people to track him down? IAN. that itself tells u a lot, yes he wants to be out of the gang, but he never wanted to leave tj.
ugh why do I even bother, dude. every nuance and detail is already there in the manhwa...

"tj sends members after jo to ruin his life" uhh...which chapter was that, exactly? are we even reading the same thing??? if tj were really as evil as yall make him out to be, ur boi joe would have been dead long before chapter 98...

This is why I will always stand with tj stans, comprehension and critical thinking skills. Wetsand and every other series is ruined by fans who only read it through black and white lens. Jo stans refused for years to read between the lines. You took everything so literally and you wonder why even the simplest parts of the story flew over your heads. I saw a Jo fan say TJ should let go of Ian but TJ never had a problem letting Ian go, it's Ian who never could and never wanted to let TJ go. Do you know how wild it is to just assume your man who thought you had left him to come back from the slammer to find you in a house you purchased for him? You can't tell me that's some obsessed psychotic behaviour and then being all nervous about it. It was romantic to me tho.Tjian is not perfect but the story was never about a perfect love. It was about being pragmatic with your feelings and choosing what you actually want and not what you think is right even if you don't want it. The overall story shows Ian trying so hard to choose Jo but his heart just wasn't in it.

My thing with Jo fans is y'all acted like the only way joian could be was if Ian had no agency and was a tower princess waiting to be rescued. God forbid you accept that Ian a grown man is no saint and has consistently made poor choices including his relationship with Jo itself. And yes maybe in a different time and place they could have been but they both leave that probability forever closed cz it's just not feasible You spent years mischaracterizing Ian and even jo then have the audacity to blame the author for something y'all actively did and still do. That's on you.
