I'M CRYING BECAUSE THIS LITERALLY CHANGES A LOT OF THINGS!! Especially the eventual confessions! Bro that scene was so cute and honestly heartwarming. And the ML realized his feelings a long way in the future. They were supposed to be best friends to lovers.... Now they're like fwb/fubus to lovers, not saying there's anything wrong with that, it just means they changed a huge part of their dynamic and eventual relationship for what? For smut.
I was genuinely happy when they added the kiss scene in the previous chapter because I thought they're adding another variable that's going to make their journey towards an established relationship a lot more clear? But I guess they just wanted to add a build up for the smut. If they're going to add sex but not include the narrative and how emotional it was for them in the novel then what's the point?
