As someone who also struggles with suicidal ideation and have lost someone to it previously, I'm putting it here as a comment because it reminded me of the behaviour of the person who passed away. Before acting on the wish of killing yourself, people become very adaptable or agreeable like they want to give you a parting gift as they make physical preparations too. Social inhibition leaves their behaviour and they act a little unhinged. Please pay attention to your loved ones and observe if they act too accomodating or gifting out of the blue.
