No matter how it happens, it's weird. Even if it isn't the definition the grooming. Would've been better if the age gap was more close in age during the most prominent years of their lives, but it wasn't. It was necessary for the foundations of this story to have the MC be the adult "Savior," towards the child who grew up with adoration and desire towards the person that established their world as they know now. I love how clear he was with his boundaries and rejecting him, I just find this story really uncomfortable no matter the route they take for the romance/smut.

This chapter just doesn’t make me feel right. But I do love how her love interest Isn’t some prince or duke or whatever, since they usually use their power to help the mc. I like how I’ll be able to see how she handles situations without a more powerful backup.
