They're not abusive. It was grayson's lack of empathy and understanding of human emotions that made him like that and his papa (ashley) just punished him for almost killing their mom (koi is ashley's partner) and locked him in a room. Ashley taught him about what he needs to know about emotions to guide him and but was kinda strict.
Then whats up with chase millerās past? Wasnt ashley like forcing him to do something about pheromones then grayson did the lie about the dog thing
They are all required to release their pheromones especially the extreme alphas so they won't be like Ashley who lost his mind and affected his brain (i think grayson called it disability in his story). Grayson's thinking was abnormal and tried to help chase in a way that he thinks is good but so traumatizing to chase. I dont wanna spoil everything to you but it'll be resolve in a way but chase wont forgive him easily.

I love the story so much and how its predictable yet unpredictable (for me), love how it shows that their fate is to be together. Blonde is ass for that, tbh when he confessed that, i thought mc would be furious cuz that/ how most people would feel. I dont hate blonde, ik hes not in the age to be that stupid and kept on his days without confessing, but tbh i understand him. I like how hes personality is realistic, cuz lets be honest majority of people wouldve done the same and its ok to make mistakes like being selfish once. Mc did suffer for a long time tho

i think so too, but then again, i think thatās kinda the whole point. the genre is psychological horror and it should be making us feel trapped along with Jiwook in the plot, with a little to no progress and make us uneasy and all
ooh yeah, but psychological is more than that tbh T-T ive read multiple psychological but they never felt this repetitive or lame before. I also love reading infinite flow but those still have a moving plot considering the genre. were still at the rising action

thereās a different kind of psychological horror, and some of it purposely made to be repetitive so the reader feel trapped too. like non zero sum, dark fall etc. those shits feel so nauseaing and honestly frustating, the plot isnt moving but that jut psychological horror, the bad ones. im getting tired of this red room arc too
