You can read about war, murder, and abusive or you can read only happy stories, but you have no right to insult someone for their literary choices because that's just stupid..

This. Whenever I see people trying to drag readers, shame the artist, and their works, and call others out for reading the exact same story they’re reading, I just laugh and call them hypocrites.
A lot of them come across as people with a moral superiority complex who secretly enjoy the story but can’t admit it because they feel guilty about it. So, to make themselves feel better, they start insulting other readers just to convince themselves they’re somehow morally sane.
And what makes it even funnier is that some of these same people don’t mind reading femdom stories, but suddenly act like they’re above everyone else when it comes to this type of trope.
As long as no one is trying to justify his actions here, which is more than I can say for some femdom stories, I don’t really see an issue with people reading stories like this.

I agree with you on this, but my main issue is when people start shaming and judging other readers for liking or reading these kinds of stories. And honestly, I can assure you that I haven’t seen people here justifying or romanticizing rape and abuse to the extent some people claim. I’m not saying it never happens, but I haven’t personally seen anyone defending Leon’s actions the way you all keep insisting they are.
Yes, Leon is handsome and attractive to some readers and not to others. Yes, he and the FL will have a happy ending despite all the disgusting he’s done. And yes, many readers can get past that, which is why we’re still here reading the story. Otherwise, I doubt most of us would still be around just to hate-read every chapter.
I’ve even seen people call the artist a misogynist because of the story, which I think is unfair and just shows how immature some readers can be. At the end of the day, it’s fiction. Some people choose to criticize it, while others enjoy it for what it is, a dark romance, dark fiction, or whatever label you want to give it.
My point is that neither readers nor artists should be insulted over fictional content. Hate the story if you want, criticize it if you want, but people who enjoy it shouldn’t be shamed either, as long as they understand that certain themes and actions being portrayed are wrong.
And honestly, I wish the same energy people bring to stories where the victim is a woman was also brought into other spaces, especially certain femdom communities. A happy ending doesn't automatically make the journey good or erase the things readers disliked along the way. You enjoyed the manhwa? Good for you. Other people didn't. That's how opinions work.
