i feel like i’m the only one who semi saw this coming, hunter basically drove himself to insanity trying to find yujin and did indeed say that he didn’t plan on letting him go anytime soon
it doesn’t excuse what he’s doing. it’s gross on more than just one level that this is something that a character (let alone the author who makes these decisions consciously) but it was clear that the story was going to take a darker turn for the worst

it truly is a shame to see that this is how things unfold the story was meant to take a darker turn and that’s fine, but having it be a thing where aaron is finding excuses to simply rape yujin is such a cop out (and quite frankly weird plot device), especially when this is a result of him driving himself to insanity due to yujin leaving. it’s not to say that the story shouldn’t have this dark point, but the raping (and set ups to those scenes) is quite distasteful, and unnecessary
try to trust the process
