I do agree that this Gjord might be an imposter, but as I have said since the VERY beginning; Gjord is NOT a green flag, he is yellow. Since his character introduction (ch. 1&2 especially 2) he has been waving that yellow flag. We have seen multiple times Gjord ignoring Sylhan's wishes.
Imagine yourself getting hugged by some stranger, and while you try pushing them away they kiss you. Then you vaguely recall that you have seen them before and knows their name, but can't remember how you know them. You continue to push the dude away AND tell them that you don't remember them. YOU FELL INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE, and yet the MF chooses to ignore your feelings, ignore that you are pushing them away. Cause they know you, so why should your feelings matter?
If Gjord had been a green flag, he would have immediately felt Sylhas discomfort and stepped back ESPECIALLY when Sylhan says he does not remember him.
to all of you who still sees Gjord as still luxurious green forest, I truly feel sorry that this is your definition of a green flag, and I hope you get to experience what a true green luxurious forest really means Cause Gjord is not the forest.
For real! Being approached by a 'stranger' out of nowhere then suddenly kissed you? No way! This motherfvcker is so insensitive who only cares about himself and his obsession towards the MC. He clearly sees him as a sex toy from the very beginning. Their encounter in chapter 1 was a turn off for me. That was so weird and creepy of him to do that. He should have at least made a proper introduction first like say hi or hello and ask how he was doing instead of being an ass and greet our MC with a kiss.

I actually have a feeling that Desmond’s dad will like Anya. He expressed ''If only you could read peoples mind'' - I bet that when Anya finally meets him, she is the only one who will ''understand'' him cause she can just read his mind. I think he is a character that does not show facial expression’s, which is also why his wife finds him creepy. But then Anya can read his mind, and will be able to understand him. - just a theory :)
I also believe he's being misunderstood. I feel like he's a person who have a hard time expressing or reading people's emotion but good at war strategies. Like autism or something
I get where you're coming from. We just need to wait and see
I like this theory and seems plausible the way the author doesnt want anyone dead LOL
Would also fit the comedy aspect, but like I said - let's wait and see
