I dont think so. It is more like they will never finish the series if they wait for one arc to finish. I mean think about it DD1 came out in 2014 and that is the English version and the Chinese version most likely came out a year or two before. Now five years later 223 English came out but 241 chinese is currently out and this is the part where they are doing the god tests and the manhua bearly scratched the surface of the first test and at this point of the manhua it is around chapter 218/222. But in the manhua they changed some stuff and added more to fill the plot holes so it might take another 3 or 4 years for the manhua to finish. All in all if they wait for DD 1 to finish it would tale nearly ten years to finish it and then they start on DD2 which is 300 hundred chapters more than DD1. And DD 3 is nearly 2000 chapters. If they had waited for each serires to finish i thought that i would be able to live that long to wait and finish the series
