the premise is interesting until the world building contradicts itself.
i actually like how they highlight the difference in their own country and the neighboring country on how women are seen, but the world building on its very base quite iffy. if women are supposed to get married to have future, then this whole academy shouldn't exist in the very first place or they should have segregated the class based on gender because of the system that's already in place.
why does fl actually need job if she's a noble/of noble origin? if the fl was actually commoner, this would make sense. the whole premise establised within this PRESTIGIOUS NOBLE ACADEMY ergo, they are ARISTOCRATS, WHY THE FUCK THE NEED GOVERNMENT FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS?????
we can't keep having this half-ass world building of historical fiction with feudal aristocracy with modern systems without reconciling them. the whole premise make no sense. seriously, pick a social structure and commit to it.
in conclusion, eat the rich. xx
the plot seemed promising but i will not stand for corset slander propaganda.
historical corset supposed to be wore as undergarment, it was "bra" before bra was invented. yes, children should not have wear them as corset was supposed to be supporting your chest!!! therefore they might wear them as they come of age!!! grown women wore them for support!!!
the whole "painfully wearing corset" and "corset as fashion trend" just really pissed me off :/
edit: idk if i can finish this, the base of the contract was weird in the first place and their status also didn't make sense.
ml and fl also quite boring, i don't get why ml also became the emperor whilst his father still alive, well, and didn't abdicate the throne explicitly. a lot of things within the world building don't make sense, but that just every fantasy historical manga/manhwa anyway.
