I fucking love this manhwa and the community here it's like we're all connected by the bullshit
Never seen a top be dunked this much by the whole community EVER and the guy is like a douchebag at worst lmao (THE HATE IS STILL VALID THO) it's so amazing let's normalize this
So like... did he beat he beat his head into the perfect keys or is that dude's head just shaped perfectly for piano slamming because I'm not sure banging a skull on keys sounds like a melody reminiscent of proper musical scores
That old dude is so creepy and pushy he's making me crazy uncomfortable â˜
No respectful options are there
Why are the philosophical takes in this batshit insane BL manhwa so deep and well crafted I'm genuinely moved
So the teacher was a cyborg created by a human researcher with the goal to save humanity and the 6 kids were supposed to merge into the perfect human so humans can survive forever. The 6 kids each represent one of the high principles which I believe is supposed to be kind of like the 7 virtues in Christianity, but instead of 7 it's 6 because 6 is the number of the beast (Satan) and the teacher accidentally almost created a demon so that symbolism checks out. I think that means that the teacher failed to account for one principles?? Not sure tho
Some other people have argued these values align with Aristoteles' or Platon's philosophy more and that's a fucking genius take I would've never been able to make but I can't help but be perplexed as to why the translation isn't explicitly naming them the same? But that could just be, well, due to translation. The numbers don't match up either but that can be argued away so no matter.
The principles we have so far are:
Perfection - Jin (or Tehir)
Nobility - Tehir (or Jin)
Wisdom - Kimoto (confirmed)
I'm almost certain Nobility is Tehir and Jin is Perfection by whats implied by the text though. If the brain of the primordial demon being turned into Wisdom (Tehir) then the heart, the crux of life itself, which we know became Jin is probably Perfection.
Guessing the others I'd say
Garon - Passion/Fight/Simplicity/Survival
Aeil - Kindness/Innocence/Adaptability/Peace
Fox guy - Compassion/Protection
The religious reference would also check out if you consider the corruption of these values fits the 7 deadly sins (Nobility into pride, Wisdom into Envy/Sloth, etc.) which is probably the lesson the teacher had to learn the hard way too; that humans are not pure in anything they are. But idk I might be reaching here. The teacher does say it feels "played by god" however so.... Religious parallelism is definitely present. I'm putting my money on at least one explicit reference to Faust or Dante's inferno while we're at it I can feel it.
Also Perfection (Jin) being created in the image of the teacher's creator is lowk me making me emotional just wanted to share that
That's was smooth as hell of teach damn, didn't know he had rizz like that
