Why didn't she change her hairstyl3 i find it unbelievable that she can be prancing around with the exact same hairstyle. Even if the people that initially came to rhe town was thought she was dead, the officer in the prison knew her name I assume via a previous description. So as someone who has been reported to head quarters as being alive. Just changing her hairstyle makes sense. I mean the two braids was literally pointed out in identifying her by her best friend.
Two braids as description in that era or age is quite vague because they can literally style their hair and if the bureau prioritize on her (one of the runaway mages) rather than the mages who literally destroyed one of their facilities is quite dumb move. Also the officers might be dead (as in all of them) if they ain't she can't still be found because it's another city to other (city or town or state idk the exact word) to look for.
But you made a good point in disguise and I guess they just haven't realize that it was necessary? Idk really still a good point tho, maybe they will if the author decides it to.
I like how he told her that they don't have to rush and making it clear he sees a future with them spending time together and I like that she responded by thanking him for it. It's a very sweet and mature thing for a fresh new couple to be experiencing. I hope they give us minimal angst and drama, so that it can continue feeling like a realistic normal sweet teenage romance.
