It didn't originate from a yaoi. It originated from fanfics and hetero romance tropes. Y/N means "your name" and originated from fanfic writers using it as a placeholder for self-insert fics. the CEO archetype originated from hetero romance stories. At some point, these two concepts were put together as a meme on social media and became more popular after the meme was illustrated. I'm not sure abt the meme pic and who drew it tho, nor do i know abt what the og meme pic was, there's a lot of variations of it now
after it became popular someone drew a pic of a yaoi version of the meme which has become more popular than the og meme I think
