don't really know why they spent so much time focusing on how he's not gay if they just end up together anyway... kinda weird. and the flashback made me like him a lot less knowing that he just ignored that poor guy being bullied... oh well i still enjoyed it i guess. charyeok always draws the hottest dudes
kinda concerned after reading the afterword hearing the author say she doesn't understand love between men and cant imagine gay sex without rape...
how am i twisting her words? people who act like love between two men is some unknowable abstract concept are ignorant at best and homophobic at worst. i'm not walking around thinking i can't understand straight people in love because it's no different than what i experience as a gay man? and i get that it's her fetish and i still enjoyed the story but i assumed that was all it was (a smutty story that caters to her fetish) so seeing her say that just made me suspicious of her feelings towards gay people, kink notwithstanding
My interpretation from her saying the sex scene without rapes was the hardest to portray isn't that "she doesnt understand" or "she's a woman and she has a rape kink" its moreso that because of how dark the theming and most of the story is, its hard for the author to properly encapsulate the two characters having sex wholesomely after having drawn the same character getting raped so much
I think its that the author had a hard time giving the wholesome normal sex justice when she was drawing it
okay but that coupled with how she said she can't understand love between men but can understand the love between a father and son despite her not being a man thus also not being a father made me raise an eyebrow. like what's hard to understand about that? i swear arguing with fujoshi is so exhausting lmao
You do realize that you're also exhausting to argue with, right? The author clearly said that she might not fully understand love between men, but she understands a child's love for their parents... beause she isn't a gay man and she loves her parents. I think you should be old enough to have reading comprehension if you're old enough to roam this site reading torture porn manhwas.
this comment section has such a clear divide between actual queer people and fujoshi. like... i live in canada, one of the more "open" countries for LGBT acceptance and i STILL see people (and have been) openly harassed and called the f slur just for existing in public. i can't imagine how much worse it must be in an overtly conservative country like korea.
