I just skimmed random chapters to see if I'd like the story. The best friend in the second season, does he really like MC? And do they stop being friends then? Like is he the antagonist?

Maybe it's because I'm not as patient as Taeyang, but I could not excuse the ML. Yes, he went through a horrible time. I felt terrible for him and loathe his parents. No, it's still not a justified an excuse to hurt others. But like good for them they're happy and in love in the end
He forgave the father and brother way too easily.
Then again neglectful family is like just a trigger for me. But I wish he called them out on how they treated him at least
from personal experience even if I'm aware of everything I still end up worrying about my abusive parents...this story is a bit fast paced but sweet, I'm actually surprised that his dad had the balls to even acknowledge his negligence lol
