And pretended like their dates didn't mean anything. I think they got back together during the hiatus specials like he finally came to terms with his feelings for another man and accepted them. This author knows what they're doing. Hyeonseon was the sad lost one when we met them as a couple and he had a chance to heal. Now the focus is healing the harder case - happy go lucky, everything seemingly perfect, openly gay yeoreum coming to terms with the fact that his family might never accept him and that's okay (but is it? Fuck his parents).
I think he's basically self sabotaging and self isolating due to his family trauma by lying to hyeonseon that he has a group project and went home instead of coming over for dinner. I don't think he will actually cheat based on what the author is writing, but Im guessing he becomes more distant from hyeonseon and cracks opens the window for other ppl to flirt with him which our poor divorcee learning to love again will see. Bleh. Sad. Hard to love others when you don't love yourself I guess.
