see, i get he was frustrated about jun being a little embarrassing at the dinner, but like, that could not have warranted what he did to jun. AT ALL. im just confused, ngl...like its just so sudden and weird and i guess its the psych issues that must be involved and idk miscommunication at a peak rn
maybe I’m js too empathetic( if that’s been the word for it) but I can see why he did what he did and same with jun granted they both did wrong things it makes sense when u consider their characters and yohans family issues. in no way am I defending either of them i just wanted to say that it went too far but considering everything i feel like they both are the victim nor are they the villain if u get what i mean?
well u can’t compare either of them that’s not what I was trying to do I was just saying that neither of them are all bad and jun did want to help but he also did it because of his own pride he liked feeling like he was yohans savior and he even said something like this himself he was selfish and didn’t think to consider yohans feelings he was just too focused on being his “savior” to actually look at his face and see how he felt during it
just me who's super uneasy about this? like YES they are finally gonna ykyk BUT the circumstances are sorta scary and there are so many miscommunications just hanging in the air....i wish they could just be in love without interjection and lies surrounding them. Idk i just don't want a dubcon scene its sorta sad
ok not to this author in particular it just got me thinking- why does every manhwa artist get some random injury like at least 3 times during the creation of a series. Like there's no way they're getting these serious injuries that require dangerous surgeries if their schedules are as packed with sitting and drawing like they say they are. I just find it hard to believe..I'd rather them just say "yeah dude I'm tired let's give it a month or two" not like "oh my left abacus discus shoulder joint completely disappeared and I just got heart surgery, i'm soooo sorry please support!" like is it the culture to just believe it all or what
I’m doing my master’s dissertation on this btw lololol. anyway, you should look it up, there’s loads of evidence of how awful these work schedules are for these authors. pair it with the the culture, esp in japan, to work to death rather than take a break, results in, you guessed it, severe problems in their health. i get why you are skeptical but try drawing just one manga panel- with colouring and backdrop and shadows and detail. you’ll likely figure out why they get these injuries within one session haha. anyway, sorry, i got excited to see someone else noticed the same thing i did (so much so im doing a dissertation on it lmao).
This comes off as a little silly tbh. Artists and writer usually sit for a prolonged time of the day. The things inconsistent exercise and barely moving anything but your hand does to your body is frightening. It can lead to autoimmune diseases. Not forgetting to mention that during these LONG sessions, artists may forget to eat and drink properly being as focused as they are. Adding the weight of wanting to satisfy their readers on top of that, overtime is what a lot of these artists resort to in order to meet their deadline. And here you are reading all this hard work for free. I'd suggest you don't complain and just find a different manhwa to pass time lol
