Just my theory I think dan is gonna get kidnapped, and he'd loose the match to save dan, so just like his coach said he'd pick something other than boxing, so he'd loose to gain another, he'd probably loose dan too and live pathetically like bum for a while before Mingwa makes Dan give in to him.
