It's bittersweet. But I think it's the perfect ending.
Apparently it's just a dream but it foreshadows what might happen in their future. Illic did care about Sayan but whether Illic learns to love Sayan or not.. the author leave it up to the readers imagination. So still bittersweet.
"So it's an open ending and many Korean readers logically answered No, Ilic didn't. There's love for him but as I said before it wasn't the love Sayan wanted to be loved. IIrc just simply only came to care for him *cries*"
Anws, when I'm reading this, it gives me Griffith x Guts fanfic vibes I'm sorry hahaha #GriffGuts
Is yashiro here a power bottom? Y'know like the one in charge of sex?
his character is dominant yes but in the bed he is not the type to likes dominate but rather prefers getting handled roughly, other one use him like toy and made him submit since he is masochist. but this is coming from the trauma of getting raped in childhood from his father so we can’t say this is his actual liking. in fact, quite the opposite is true; Doumeki doesn't use him like the others, he's even affectionate and tender with him when they're sleeping together, and although he secretly yearn this obviously, he’s also afraid of this unusual comforting feeling, and that's one of the reasons he pushes Doumeki away as well

I really enjoyed the drama hehe planning to read this one. I've read somewhere that the "love triangle" is less apparent here compared to the kdrama. How true is that?
If by less apparent you mean non existent then yeah
