I really don't like characters like mc. This self sacrificing attitude is annoying. Trying to solve things on his own, keep putting himself in danger and trying to die for no reason. Like if you have someone who loves you and uh love him, fight back. For that love. But he simply resigns and keep wanting to die as if that would solve anything. It's cowardly and selfish. The mc ruined the story for me.
I think it’s reasonable tbf, he’s been conditioned from birth to think he’s unwanted and not worthy and suddenly for him this reverend figure appears . He then realises they both have an uncontrollable desire for eachother but when he’s told it’s the curses not real attraction isn’t that too convenient for him not to believe it? After all no one has ever loved him before

Never trust the comment section blindly. This story is the proof of that. I loved the story. I felt so bad for Navier when the emperor abandoned her. But at the same time I also feel sad for Rashta. She was genuinely good in the beginning but then people gave her wrong advices and made her act on her worst thoughts which led to her making the worst possible choices ever and she turned cruel. I hated Soveishu in the beginning and tbh everything started because of him. He was the sole reason responsible for ruining his life but at the same time i cant help but feel sad for him as well. He made a mistake that cost him his everything. The only one benefitted from this ordeal was that purple eyed smart bird. I'm happy for him. It's a good story.
You were almost on point, but ruined it when you mentioned those fuckass men. Imagine feeling bad for a pedophile and happy for a literal war criminal.
Pedophile? War criminal? Could you elaborate on this?
Oh my god. Did you even read this manhwa? I'll give you two names. Sovieshit and Heinrey. Go figure.
Imagine telling new readers to never trust the comment section where in fact, you are the one whom they should never trust because you read TRE with your eyes closed, girl.
i read the manhwa and that is why i bothered to reply to you because your comment didn't make any sense to me. You called Soveishu a pedophile and i wonder why? Was it because he liked Rashta? She was an adult and so was he and they both consented to everything they did together. Its not like he coerced her or manipulated her to have physical relations with him? so how on earth did you reach this conclusion that he is a pedophile? 2nd you said Heinrey is a war criminal and again i failed to see how you arrived at this bizarre conclusion? Was it because he was associated with decline of mages? If that is your reasoning behind these weird thoughts than i would say you have failed to see how war works and how countries are led or ruled. He did everything to ensure the future of his country. He knew mages were the reason eastern empire was so powerful and that have grown with time and that could have been a problem for his western empire. he was not a tyrant who went around killing people for pleasure, he punished people with cruelty and they deserved it. If that according to you is a war criminal that you are an idiot. He was a ruler of an empire he had to take tough decisions. Its better to ensure his empire's safety first than let his emotions rule the kingdom. So yeah i said so because i found your reasonings nonsense.
i read the story clearly and that's why i posted my thoughts. i liked the story and i liked the characters. I liked how there were people like the Emperor Soveishu who made mistakes, paid for them and repented in their own way. i liked how Empress Navier didn't wait for anyone and made her own destiny. I liked that after what Heinrey did to the mages, he accepted his mistake and stopped the war because he fell in love and apologized to Navier. I liked how Rashta's character was shown transforming from an innocent girl to a cruel person. Your comments, on the other hand are the one which i failed to see make any sense.
also i want to add one more point that maybe Rashta being around 17-18 been a point for you to call Soveishu a pedophile but you have to understand that he was 24-25 at that time and in that era getting married early was the norm and it was considered normal. So looking at that time's trend he did not do anything abnormal. You can judge him all you want based on your now modern moral ethics and that would make sense but at that time marrying early was totally normal.
Oh, please you look at these people with rose-colored glasses. I can't even believe you are this passionate defending these trash men. Look at how everyone seems to agree how shitty all the men in this manhwa and here you are trying to defend them with all your might. You make them look like saints in your narrative where in reality they are all spawns of hell.
How male centered can you be? Bro, what the hell?
Just because it's normal doesn't make it right especially when power imbalance comes in (status and age gap). Rashta cannot consent both as a child (i will forever stand by this fact) and a slave (uneducated and ignorant about the world outside slavery at that). She was taken advantage of. Her brain is basically an almost empty canvas when she met Sovieshu.
Im not being male centric. I talked about them because you called me out saying I failed to see them based on how you perceived them. I simply told you how I saw them. The fact that instead of speaking about the points I have spoken you chose to speak about why I'm talking about them is pathetic. You asked me about them having said that 'im giving you 2 names think yourself', so I told you what I thought. It's simple.
Life must be so simple for you as to see you speak so simplemindedly. If you so much have so many issues or don't agree with the things are potrayed don't read the novel. But don't go around judging other's thoughts based on your narrative. Don't ruin experience for others. Just because you failed to see the overall dynamic of the era doesn't means people who were able to were wrong.
