Hey people, you probably know that mangago "steals" some translation work of scans groups and post them, and there are some other things that you should know and all those things are linked to each other.
1. Translating without the writer's consentment is ILLEGAL
2. Since it's illegal, it can leads to REAL and LEGAL consequences, so the people who are part of a scans group can be severely punished. These people are risking themselves when translating these works, and only for liking/loving the work
3. Some of the translations are copied and posted on other blogs, such as mangago and mangafox, for example, and it's really frustrating, because all your work is stolen and you can do practically nothing about it, so everyone, please try to access the official blog/page of the group who translates, doing so, you can support them in some way.
4. There are a bunch of discords who gather people from many scans and update you about new releases, it seems like some of you already know some of them. You should try to get into these discords and keep everything about the updates inside it. If you got into one and you know/saw someone who wants to read one of the manhwas that are released there LINK THEM to the discord. DO NOT SPREAD THE PAGES OF RELEASES SO CARELESSLY, they are supposed to be kept in secrecy.
5. Impatient Community was one of those discords, but less than a week ago the community chose to change its focus, and since it happened, a new server was created specifically to the releases and its called Sleepless Society (SS)
6. Many translators are upholding their works due to a really worrisome event: the writer of The Villain's Saviour found out about his/her (I don't know the gender) work being translated when someone was promoting it on Instagram, and he/she reprimanded this person and warned that if the translations weren't deleted he/she would appeal to a legal action. The problem is that this fact can affect many other scans just by catching the attention of other writers of famous manhwas, so it got people very aprehensive about what could happen. If you know what the scans will do from now on, DON'T SPREAD IT, MUCH LESS SAY IT IN THE REPLIES
7.Now, lets focus on Elise's updates. Actually, there are 61 chapters translated, and the password to enter them has CHANGED. Don't ask me for the password, I won't give it to you. If you want to be notified about the releases and newest passwords, please join the SS server.
Please, don't forget to SUPPORT THE AUTHOR by buying the chapters on tappytoons or in your area once its available. The authors really need our support, its a way to show our appreciation for their work.
So, it's all I have to say. No, I'm not a translator and neither I am part of a scans group, I'm just a reader like you, who wants to read peacefully without causing problems for anyone. My English isn't perfect, and I'm really sorry for any mistakes, but I think you got the general ideia of it.
Reply me if you want the link for Sleepless Society.
