This thread is literally the reason most translators stop translating. It always comes down to one of the three reasons: it's either a) people are being disrespectful towards the translators and they've had enough of it; b) the author asks them to stop and they stop or c) personal reasons. If you see the translators in the light of "you've started, then finish doing it" without considering anything that's behind it, I feel sorry for them. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

idk about you but if people were disrespecting me constantly and complaining even tho they're getting it for free i wouldn't want to do it either. also someone above mentioned they stopped for personal reasons since translators you know, have a life outside translating. if you're really that pressed you should continue the dropped manhua/webtoons

Then they shouldn't start in the first place. Translators know what they are getting into - how people can be disrespectful, how much time it takes to translate, yada yada yada. It's their choice to start translating and also their resposibility. Also this habit of dropping manhwas started one year ago and before that scanlation groups used to finish comics they took on.
Unfortunately I can't translate because I only know polish and english, not japanese or korean.

they are doing this for free. They aren’t getting paid from us, so they don’t owe you or me anything. Ofc it’s shitty to see your fav manga being “dropped” but guess what you could also have been never aware of the existence of your fav webtoon and in my opinion this would be much worse. Technically, I could still buy the webtoon on lezhin...or I could read the raws from toonkor (by using a shitty picture translation).
Just see the translator who has dropped smth as a person who has just introduced you to a manga.

If you really are that desperate to know an ending you still have multiple choices... buy the chapters or use pic translation. I mean the translation group gave you the basic information (first few chapters) for free anyway. Just take what you can get.

By what you've shown on this thread so far - I can tell you're one of those disrespectful people that are the exact reason the translators are having enough of it and just dropping the series. They can speak Korean, they'll read them some raws and know exactly what's happening. Bitching about anything you're given for free is immature and overusing of their kindness. You may be pressed about it but they don't care. Also, not all of these people have translated stuff before or taken more projects so you can't be sure they know what they're getting into as if you know them lol. Gurl, bye
