Its not bad honestly, it reminds me of a grimm fairytale, but good lord was that ever sad, I don't even really get the ending, but it seemed like endless suffering. The main character was honestly so intelligent, its too bad her greed got the best of her every single time.
This has got to be in the running for some of the shittiest characters in a manga that I've ever seen. This girl has NO allies what so ever, just creepy men, shitty family members, and people who just hate her on sight. They haven't introduced a proper likeable human ML at chapter 58, so I'm afraid that these are infact, the only options available. Which is insane.
I can't believe how they are even trying to redeem the family, after they literally left her to die in a fire. This story irritates me so much
I really could not care less about the father, he is such a piece of shit, its really sad and bitter what his partner did to him, but like damn he really let himself turn into a horrible little rat over it. Borderline abusive to children including his own and his staff, people can go through terrible things and still not let themselves turn into a terrible person as a result. Fuck this guy
Stories where they have a million lives and somehow had a perfect career in every single one, and pull out the 'I was once this' only so she can show off how perfect she is at this one scenario, its so cringy.
WHEN WILL THEY COMMUNICATE I CAN'T TAKE THIS STUPID MISUNDERSTANDING ANYMORE. Just get to the part where this stupid shit with her father is over.
Why is the male lead so unbelievably creepy, he has some really good qualities about him, but then he turns and assaults Daon whenever he gets the chance. And everyone just hates women for no reason except him apparently, but then he gets rapey again. People are raving about this story but this guy just sucks and Im supposed to root for him.
I can't believe I read 15 chapters of whatever tf this shit is.
How was that the end? It felt like we barely started the actual story, the 'extra' makes it feel like theres so much more story to tell like wtf.
I can't believe this relic is still updating, but the ones I love and look forward to just die one day and never come back smh. This manga had potential, its too bad the story got so boring, and the characters are drawn like wooden boards that speak with great angst with one another.
Our girl cannot get a fucking BREAK. WHY, no way we went through all that just for ceasar to snatch her back, I can't even with all the rats out to get Ruby.
Why does the age gap have to be so grossly large. Come onn, I can't root for anyone to be a love interest because they decided to pair a 14 YEAR OLD with a 30 YEAR OLD WOMAN fgs.
The ending was so very nice, but also bittersweet, I can't help but be sad that we never really got a resolution for what happened to Kya's people, just a vague notion that they just got sold off or murdered, and their tragedy was swept entirely under the rug. And that poor tortured woman, gahh this story rips my heart out and stomps on it, while giving a little kiss on the forehead to make up for everything.
Why does every Yuri rn always have this rapey plot, cant have nice things around here apparently
God this story, I knew it would go badly, but they destroyed my girl Yeongwon, what happened to the girl who cried after she killed a dog. Like theres no way a happy ending is even remotely possible, it'll just be a sad toxic mess. Both of them are just so irredeemable now
I like the story, I'm only on chapter 15, but I am getting a little sick of the tea party exposition dumps. Nothing has progressed, she hasn't tried to do anything, I do hope it picks up soon.
Its interesting, I like the concept its pretty unique. I do wish they showed 'cinderellas' perspective, she seemed like an important character to the story, but then she's barely mentioned or is shown a handful of times like some side character. Her going from an all human family to a place with multiple races would have been interesting to see how she adjusted.
Its such an intriguing story, (almost) everyone feels very human with their own traumas and individual reasons. Theres no dull moments so far, I'm excited for each chapter, but lawd its going to be a long wait.
Violetta abandoning her without saying or explaining anything to her was fucking evil. I get maybe she didnt want to 'scare' her or some bull, or maybe couldnt handle her own decision to abandon her. But just essentially abandoning her without a goodbye or anything, she really is a horrible person.
