It's just currently full of really gross or twisted stories of MLM couples, and a lot of fans don't see any problem with it. Even more moderate yaoi (those without the incredibly reoccurring sexual assault themes) use harmful stereotypes towards MLM. I'm not entirely sure what you're going for with the LGBTQ+ community "victimizing itself," but I think it's important to note that "heterophobia" simply doesn't exist. In the modern society LGBTQ+ people would technically fall in this "victim" category you've made since, yes, they are an oppressed group, whereas heterosexual people are not. Hetero...... 2 reply
