Gyoon doesn't deserve Jihye. Even tho he's nice to Yohan, he looks down on others (Soohwa) and cannot extend his love beyond his circle of friends like Jihye. If they get together, Gyoon will make Jihye suffer with his suspicion and arrogance. His feelings for Jihye should be unrequited forever.
I think that because of those traits, gyoon will be dedicated to the relationship. Whilst jihye will sacrifice the relationship, without knowing it, in favour of being nice to everyone. So I actually think jihye will make gyoon suffer with his naivety and ignorance. Either way, a rocky road is ahead.
I see where you're coming from, but I think you're reading Gyoon a lot worse than he is. That looking down on others thing is a big act cause he didn't trust Soohwa with Yohan. The cynical and arrogant thing you mentioned the author hasn't shown, since the only person he acts that way towards is Soohwa for comedic purposes. And we've seen multiple times he DOES care about him and helps him out when it is important. Gyoons behavior towards Soohwa is different than his behavior towards everyone else, and it's only cause he's protective of Yohan. Look at the character as a whole instead of just the one interaction.

the director looks hot. like he could totally be a gentleman seme but too bad he's portrayed as a pervert rapist.
