Yes, it's a high school manhwa, but I rarely see a fml who's kind of an asshole. Usually the ml is the asshole. And it's from his perspective. I quite like it so far. I hope it's a slow burn.
she said kind of, obv she doesn’t literally mean she’s an asshole she just doesn’t have a conventional manhwa personality which is nice to see. Plus if it was the ML acting like her people would call him an asshole too even if it’s valid through his perspective, I think she was just pointing out that it’s more interesting when the FL isn’t a naive goodie two shoes who immediately falls for the ml
I remembered a while back when I reread this manga, before the current season, and thinking that Haebom didn't change that much throughout the story. He was always more reserved, shy, and unsure of himself. He had his moments, but he was still the same throughout the manhwa. The first time I read this, I thought it was one of the best BLs. On the reread, I saw more flaws with it but Taesung is a top notch character, so I still thought it was good. Now that there is another new season, and seeing how it's going, I really don't understand why this is continuing. A grandfather out of nowhere? Why? There was no hint of Taesungs grandparents in the previous seasons. It was about our couple, and Taesung parents. Why add extra family members for no reason? For a separation arc? Those type of arcs are rarely done well. There is no reason to do a separation arc after they are married? They've been together for YEARS. Since high school. Now they are working adults who have their own place and their own business.
I want to keep reading to see what the reason is, but that might take a while. They have to drag it out, probably. Sigh. Honestly, this arc makes Haebom unlikable and unless the reason for leaving is good, I don't think I can forgive him leaving without a word. No talking things out, no standing up to the grandfather and telling him off, not even telling Taesung's parents. Nothing. It makes him stupid and selfish. Taesung is depressed and Taesung didn't even think this through at all. I wonder if anyone else here will be able to forgive Haebom after this?

The manhwa started out interesting, then quickly got annoying. I dropped it for a bit, but now at chap. 65, I'm so close to dropping.
