I’ve been seeing complaints in the comments that this barely has any ‘plot’ and honestly I can quite understand where they are coming from if they based that opinion from only reading the manga since its pretty new so of course the story is only just beginning to unravel but if y’all are getting impatient and wanna know what happens next too, I suggest you pick up on reading the novel and see if you still like it or not.
My take on this story:
Ok ngl I would’ve never knew the existence of forgotten fields had I not seen THE Spoon’s manhwa adaptation but thats not really the whole reason I ended up loving the irregularity of this story. In its core (having read the novel up to 3/4 of its entirety) I love the complexities of their personas and realism of their emotions. It’s also very surprising but author-nim does NOT spare Talia the heartache of it all (Have mercy on her PLSS). Anyways, this isn’t really the story for you if you are expecting major fantasy plot that focuses on world-building because this story delves on the psychological and political elements involving the characters, saying this story does not have plot is mere negligence of its essence on your part.
I just wanna know if the MC is gonna have a happy ending in the novel.
Will she end up with someone else?
Or was she never meant to be happy?

So far the recent chapters in the novel (it is still updating) I can’t really spoil you any further since I’m not near the recent chapters but I partially spoiled myself and yea they are still going through rough roads but things are getting better (due to something that was pretty climatic) for both MC and ML so I’m also hoping for a happy ending

I read through it blindly, got super engrossed and didn’t anticipate the heartache…
Since then I’ve been super sensitive to angst, but angst usually has the best plot for me, that’s why I often ask for spoilers to mentally prepare myself
MC u the real marupok final boss, Im alr at ch. 5 and never once did he said no to the ML lol
Wow, this is toxic af. I’m uncomfortable but I read it till ch. 22 and gonna keep it marinating. So uh, for ppl wanting to know something before reading this idrk but MC is a super traumatized guy and the ML is a horrifying psychopath. Just imagine that dynamic and you’ll know what to expect

I can’t believe I didn't let this marinate first, the cliffhanger hurtss but yeah me and this story already has a love-hate relationship (I RLLY LIKE THEIR COMPLEX NATURE MAN, It just makes u go like ‘Fuck you all <3’)
I love the utter feels in this one, the dialogue writing is SO GOOD, EVERYTHING IS and I really love how the mental turmoil of the ‘right path’ the mc has was given a spotlight and validated, I must say it hits right home.
