In the novel, they looked around for Greyson after disappearing for a whole day and the best friend of the kid asked Dane for help to get his friend where they found them there, but Greyson didn't left the place because he said he was completing the time duration of being punished so he stayed there until the father of the kid came back and was about to shoot Greyson for taking his son but Dane came up behind the guy and Greyson, oh my days, was instructed to be quiet by Dane so he can take out the father because he has a gun but Greyson dumb ass pointed that out so when the father turned around, Dane almost got shot. Love you.
Damn, this reminds me of that one cowboy guy who was lured to death, of course it's not entirely the same but the way both the authors kill them off is so the same
