I love that they’re together like this but like, did I completely forget and need to do a reread, or was it ever explained why they didn’t work out the first time they were together when Pete was made?
So the dog incident happened after that or before that? Cuz I remember reading the novel and Josh was kinda feeling guilty about hiding the fact that he was the one who had slept with chase on that night and "blamed" himself for misunderstanding.
It's been a long time so maybe mz mind is playing with me.
The dog thing that didn't happen, happened at his first rut. Grayson was present then and he panicked, that's why he brought his dog. But Chase passed out and nothing happened.
The problem is that Chase remembered a dog being there and nothing else.
And Grayson later used that to make him go to pheromone parties/ to release pheromones ( they used injections there, but Chase isn't aware of it), because Chase in general is afaid of losing controle/not remembering what happened during his ruts.
Chase not releasing pheromones is actually a very serious problem, it's sad that the author made him so dumb that he didn't go to the hospital on his own...-_-
The night with Josh was later. Chase was aware that he slept with someone. He actually searched for that person and didn't find them. He later told Josh that he was afraid that he had raped thát person, and was relieved that he didn't.

From a quick glimpse of comments, it seems I’m the only one that enjoyed this one. The art style is simplistic but realistic. Not overly flashy. Not d*cks the size of my arm, not every panel needing to be photogenic angles of the characters. body portions pretty spot on.
The plot was a little spotty and towards the end, it felt like some pages were missing, but overall pretty understandable. Mc wasn’t always screaming “no” “stop” “it hurts” “wait” etc. in a way that just felt uncomfortable like most other stories.
*spoiler *
Yes he does end up sleeping with the other guy but honestly I’m here for it. It’s realistic because some people can’t always control their desires. Especially when it came to someone they liked for a long time. Was it right? Not at all. Especially with it happening right after agreeing to a date with another guy, but again, I like the fact that he’s imperfect and got a lil taste of someone else. It not like it was a random stranger so it made sense. He also regretted it and got on his knees for forgiveness. Some people deserve a second chance/redemption. Had Mr Han been the ml doing this then no he doesn’t really deserve it with his lifestyle but Param just stepped foot into this romance world and had a better chance of understanding what he did and not doing it again.
Overall, I didn’t walk into this expecting an overly serious read and was satisfied with what I got. I’d read this again.
