It's a good read, interesting plot. There were some plot jumps but has likeable characters. The art reminds me a lot of another manhwa about a Gangster/Agent seme and schooler uke who is running from loansharks to a remote island to escape. If anyone knows the manhwa please drop the name. That one also has a very big age gap with barely legal uke. It's kinda off putting but I guess it's fine so far because the ukes are not coerced in any way.

This is one of the best BLs I have read so far. Everyone is such a character. Dialogues are so natural and funny. I know for sure I will read it again..
Is the author sane? Black ML is one thing, but to have the MC go through such a tough recovery, finally getting back on his feet and push him right back to the same guy who was the reason the MC had to go through the recovery for? This is darker than if the MC had never escaped. I would have prepared MC to have remained insane and oblivious. Now he realises what was done to him was wrong and the author wants us to believe that he is happy with the ML? And the other guy is happy for them? On what basis? How do we know the ML changes or improved? Even till the end, he was more worried about Wuyoen being a hassle and wanted him dead. So why would such a guy come back for Wuyoen? Nothing makes sense. I read this in one sitting, wasted time. Please don't read. Read anything else, you won't have this heart burn. It is not the nice kind. Just the shit, unsatisfactory kind.
Mostly because he is unwilling. It's not hot. He was hot as a confident, silly but infatuated top. Now he is always getting caught and out of his depth. I get that we are trying to establish Enzo as ruthless. Beefy bottoms are hot as long as they are willing. Confident tops forced into submission is just pitiful. I feel author wasted a very good character after building him up so well in Red Candy. I hope Enzo is willing to be a switch. Otherwise he is just hateful, not hot hateful. Story is so goated tho, as always. Please don't hate me, it's just how I felt when I read it - uncomfortable.
No no I totally get youuu, I wouldn't give a rat's ass abt this bl if it were not for Rian. He's the sole lifeline in this story for me, Enzo's literally just another psychopathic rapist ml and i don't get why he has so many dickriders given that he's completely unhinged. This story is not a romance, and I wish the author themselves would treat it as such till the end bc if Rian somehow became submissive and "in love" with Enzo, it's gonna ruin it for me big time
Btw I still prefer Uno as bot but the rape was completely unnecessary, I hate how authors see "enemies to lovers" = hate sex = rape.

I have read it twice now and it's still so good. It's funnier than other manhwas tagged as comedy. I also really like the art style and the translation. This is one of the best translated works out there recently.
