one way you can interpret this is taehyuk never really had a sense of what was truly “him,” since all he did was act according to what other people would like. liking moeum is the first thing he’s done truly for himself, and that’s the first part of his “identity” that he’s discovered. i think being with moeum will make him discover who he really is

first time reading haemuri’s work since olgami and wow… wow. she did it again. she’s actually crazy crazy talented, no one can depict mood and chemistry and tension like she can. i don’t even read in this genre that much but this is becoming one of my favorite manhwas because of how well haemuri is executing it
read this in 2 days and wow. i’ll never get over this. easily in my top 3 now. the story is so well written, the characters are so deep and beautifully written, and of course the art is so amazing. the way shuri’s life is depicted is almost like a tragic fairy tale. it’s so hard for me to put my thoughts into words but i haven’t read a manhwa this good in so, so, so long. im genuinely never getting over this.
