At first, he was just the bully, but then they were friends. And I hoped so much that he wouldn't be a villain. When the hope was killed, I still couldn't hate him. It just felt so sad even though what happened to him was just him suffering the consequences of his actions. It feels like I'm mourning what could have been and I ugly cried at the end. The writing was amazingly good (/TДT)/

Ikr. Altough Lee Sangmin deserved it, he also deserved a second chance to redemped himself to atone the sins he committed. The Goddess did a right thing by giving a secomd chance, and I love absolutely love how the ending ends with Kim Jinhyum and Lee Sangmin drinking like old times especially the side stories, they're so cite mostly Lee Haemi.

Sometimes I forget there are people who didn't read the novel so when I read some comments and see what people say I'm like "Σ(っ°Д °;)っhold on sis how come you don't know this..."

true! i think there's many parts or scenes in the novel that is not put in the manhwa. Also in the drama or even in the anime version but im still glad that theres so many version of mo dao zu shi aside from the novel :) but i sometimes feel that they should read the novel first before jumping to any versions of it :) : (

yeah some scenes in the novel are not included in the other adaptations but i think they still deliver the story line. Also for me it's worth it! im happy that the novel gets an adaptation, also when you watch the chinese drama and the anime version of it you will think the person who did the voice of wei wuxian and lan wangji in the anime version is also the one in the drama but in reality its different people. They also give justice to the characters and they portray them really well so for me its worth it! but yeah well in the drama they revise some scenes from the novel and the anime only have 2 seasons but they said that they will be back this year, i think they're now working for the 3rd season.

I loved the novel to bits and pieces. So much so I like devoured all things MDZS after lol. So here's my open ended suggestion.
Novel then Audio Drama (which is absolutely mindblowingly amazing and completely faithful to the book) then manhwa which is like the novel's main points minus filler so it flows faster then the anime which is pretty cool to look at and loosely faithful then the drama which is nice but is a loose/inspired by type adaptation
They can be each other's hell and heaven, he truly deserves himself XD
