Yes... Doha is hot... But in the last few chapters, he's just chasing after her or pouting... It's like her assistant told him. Someone who's too attached to you stops being attractive sooner or later (no matter how incredibly attractive Doha is. I'd get tired of someone like that eventually too).

No, I won't "carry on" xD. Unless there are more people like you who enjoy them as much (joking). Anyway, I'm planning about writing a fanfic about this manhwa. That's partly why I was interested in different points of view. It seems that being "petulant-like-Hamil" hasn't gotten anyone to comment either, so... yeah, I'll pass. And I don't really care about the dislikes if that's what it seems, because ultimately they seem to have dubious value, as you yourself mentioned.
Well, if you want an opinion... Personally, I prefer that she didn't choose Biseol because they were together constantly through their childhood, with the same "parent" all the way up to their adult life. So, honestly, if they were to get together... it would seem more like incest and that's just fuckin' weird. He's also petty and petulant as well. Pretty sure if she earnestly chose Biseol, Doha would respect it and fuck off from the start and not start a feud war with him like a child who lost its toy.. Doha is simply the better answer. Water to the fire, as the author depicted. I understand why you might be peeved about it. The writer should have made their romance spark from much earlier on in the story, so it seemed a little rushed and out of nowhere since they've been enemies for so long, but I personally liked the way the story was written. Again, your opinions to mine.

Ha,ha... Well, I have a sister but our relationship has never been easy to handle. Neither she nor I call each other "master", anyway ;P. I think Biseol feels like the Jeok-Yeon's pet. In the chapter where she carries him with her for the first time to Jilpin she asks her Master "Then, can I keep him?"... or something like that lmao... Because she knew her master would know he was half a demon. The first reading, when I was about 70 - 80 chapters or so I did it with some rush because I was getting increasingly angry for the forced/rushed imposition of Doha (I really don't like Doha. For a quickie without much talking, for me would be fine, but just that. All that pouting and sulking would drive me mad). Now I'm re-reading more patiently. And downloading some panels. I like drawing and this manhwa has a lot of excellent drawings.
Ah! At some point the relationship between Jeok-Yeon and Biseol becomes like if he was her wife... For example in the chapter were he comes back to the Winter Palace with his cheek bruised and she gets angry and corners him to make him tell her who beated him, and he makes up a lie. I love the kind of role they have there ^_^
By the way, she calls "brother" to Doha... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I LOVE THIS MANHWA, but, I felt like stop reading when I realized that the intention was to make think that Doha was the ml, I couldn't stop reading thou. This is how I'm trying to cope with my frustration for what that panel with Yeon and Doha holding hands that could seem to mean that Yeon "choses him", just in case someone here is feeling like me and finds this useful:
In my case I'd like to imagine that there is not a determined "ml". She mades immortal to Biseol first, just like she swore to him, because I think she couldn't imagine living an immortal live without him. He has become a part of her, as she has become the reason to exist for him. She looked for a remedy to save him desperately, gave him her blood for days to keep him alive and heal him. If thats not love,... what else is?. Of course the chemistry with Doha is great. Also because he is "water" and she is "fire"; opposed but they balance each other out. Anyway, Why SHOULD SHE have to CHOSE ONE OF THEM?... She loves to keep scaping with Biseol, the two of them alone, to travel like they have been doing for centuries. I also want to believe that they finally had started having intimacy at some point, altho there is no panel showing a scene like that, but, comeon!... why not?...She is frequently teasing him. When he finally feels more valuable and self-assured, that is the most logical thing to happen. In my opinion Doha is passionate / possessive love and Biseol is mystic / unconditional love, and she likes both of them. She wanted to be emperor in order to change things for women and to be a powerful and FREE one, not to be attached and lose herself due her passion to the first prince. Of course it's clear that he will be struggling for her exclusivity, but she's stubborn. I don't think she would ever renounce to Biseol for him. To imagine that at the end that would happen makes me feel very disappointed.
