Heejae it not getting off easy and it's thanks to the creator adding these situations where we get to remember what he's done. Ten times better because nothing in this story is black-or-white.
It's refreshing considering I've read stuff like Painter of the Night, Jinx and BJ Alex; they all have those redemption arcs that just brush a lot aside for the sake of romantic development and it's not believable (I still love PotN tho).
