If you're comparing the style from the first volume to the recent one of course it's going to change bro it's been over a decade since the mangaka first release this, it's called development (though I admit I like their old style more)

Last hiatus was 1year exactly so it might be same this time or even lomger since mojito said they'll take an esp long break to rest n recover. Also theyre re drawing s2 for physical prints n THEN take rest lol. So expect release by this winter or early -mid next year.
