this whole story feels misogynistic, he thinks a girl will fix his life and yeah that’s romance in it’s own way, this look with rose tinted glasses over life, but the way he acts around girls and just lack of depth in these characters make it feel so flat.
I can’t decide if he’s meant to criticise the character tropes or he’s just strengthening them
